6. Customer Authority
By instructing us to remove property or belongings, you confirm that:
- You own the items; or
- You have authority from the owner, executor, landlord, business or other authorised person to instruct us to remove them.
You must clearly identify anything that must not be removed.
This is particularly important for:

- Items belonging to another person
If there is uncertainty about an item, please tell our team before clearance begins.
7. Items to Be Retained
Before work starts, the customer should clearly identify items that are to remain at the property.
We will take reasonable care to follow the agreed instructions.
Customers should not place items to be retained together with items designated for clearance where this may create confusion.

Please inform us beforehand about:
- Parking restrictions
- Permit requirements
- Restricted access
- Security gates
- Lift restrictions

Unexpected access restrictions may affect how quickly the work can be completed and may affect the price where they materially increase the work required.
9. Parking and Charges
Where parking charges, permits, congestion charges or similar unavoidable costs apply to carrying out the agreed work, their treatment will be explained as part of the quotation or booking where reasonably foreseeable.
10. Hazardous and Restricted Items
Certain materials may require specialist handling or may not be covered by a standard clearance quotation.

Where reasonably practicable and appropriate, items may be considered for:
- Reuse
- Recycling

The appropriate route will depend on the type and condition of the items and available facilities.

The price, payment arrangements and any deposit requirements applicable to a clearance will be communicated as part of the quotation or booking process.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, customers must make payment in accordance with the payment terms communicated for their booking.
Failure to make a payment when due may result in the booking being delayed, suspended or cancelled where legally permitted.

Any applicable cancellation or rescheduling terms will be communicated as part of your booking.
If you are acting as a consumer and statutory cancellation rights apply to your agreement, nothing in these Terms removes those rights.
